Can you tell me about your wedding packages?
This is my top question so I'll do my best to give you a general overview. More information can be found on my 'experience' page.
Wedding prices start at £1000 but can be tailored to your needs.
If you are having a smaller wedding or only want photos for a few hours please get in touch anyway and can make you a custom price package.
Included in each wedding package is a a full online gallery of edited images as well as some previews sent within a few days of your event.
Are there any extra travel fees?
Should your venue fall beyond a 100mile radius within Northern Ireland, there is a minimum £50 mileage charge. This is subject to review based on location as well as taking into consideration the need for local accommodation.
How much is a couples session?
You can view the couples session packages under the 'experience' page. Prices start at £120 and include an online gallery for all your edited images.
Transport costs may be an additional expense depending on your location.
What should we wear?
For a couples/engagement session I recommend first thinking about your location and season. A cosy winter city vibe is quite the contrast to a summer's day on the beach so there is no straight answer!
Visually, I always think a floaty dress looks well on the girls as we can create nice movement and a simply shirt and jeans is timeless look for guys. But again, be true to yourselves and wear something you feel comfortable to move around in!
The only thing I would recommend you avoid is busy patterns, especially stripes as these can sometimes photograph poorly.
How many photos do we get?
I don't put a cap on the amount of images I send as this can vary from shoot to shoot. However, as a rough guide: for a couples/engagement session you can expect 50-100, and for a full wedding at least 400.
Whats your turn around time?
For any occasion/photoshoot you can expect a handful of previews within a few days.
For a couples session you will receive all photos within a month.
For an elopement/wedding you will receive your gallery within 3 months!
How do we get our photos?
All official edits will be sent via an online gallery which you can download individually/at bulk from.
Do you Travel?
ABSOLUTELY! I am an ardent traveller so I welcome any opportunity to pack up my kit and photograph in new locations. If travelling internationally, I ask that transport and three days accomodation fees are covered.
How long have you been doing this?
Since a young age I have loved anything creative and for many years this was expressed through fine art. As I began travelling more my camera became by best friend for creatively capturing things. So in a nutshell I have been developing my photography skills for over five years but professionally working for two years,
How far out do you book?
I will usually be able to give answers for inquiries up to two years in advance. However, should your inquiry regard a further date please still get in contact.
How do we book you?

For wedding bookings, all I ask for is a 10% non refundable deposit!
Will you give us any raw images?
To put it plainly, no. The reason being is that if you share photos attached to my name that aren't 'complete' in my eyes, it gives a false representation of my work. Sometimes when photographing I will specifically choose settings with the intention of making adjustments in post-production editing. Similarly, I ask that you don't make additional changes to your final edits as, again, it is not true to my product and service.
Can you help me understand prices?
Here are some elements to consider:
-the quality of work (the standard of service and product)
-testimonials (what clients have to say about you and your work)
-education (photography knowledge and experience)
-equipment (camera body/lenses/flash/memory cards/laptop)
-subscriptions (editing software/website/gallery platform)
-time (research/practice/client meetings/venue viewings/event coverage/editing/uploading/website updates)
Do you retouch photos?
I aim for natural and authentic photos which are true to you and me. I will only retouch minor flaws such as dirt on a dress or a blemish which appeared the night before. I will never modify someone's body image.
What should we do for an engagement session?
Your engagement session should be fun and feel true to you guys and your story. Think about where you would like photos - maybe you got engaged up a mountain or in your free time you both love surfing...there's so much choice!
In terms of prep, have a think about your outfits, polish your ring to make it extra sparkly, if we're hiking to a spot make sure you bring water/snacks for after and maybe some make up for touch-ups. If you have any specific songs playlists you like you can let me know or you can connect your phone to my speaker!
Can you help us with planning?
For weddings I am more than happy to help answer a few questions/share creative input but overall I would rather hand off that role to a wedding/events planner and can happily give some recommendations in that front. On the day you can expect me to lend a helping hand here and there to make sure your day runs smoothly and stress free for you!
For the likes of an elopement I can be more involved in the planning process and will happily get my hands dirty in making your vision come to life.
For a couples session I can definitely offer recommendations for the likes of locations/outfits/props and usually work with any mood board pictures couples have prepared. More often than not I also come prepared with my own inspo shots and ideas.
Do you do photobooks?
This isn't something I currently offer as I find the couple like to make specific choices with what photos they have printed.
However, there are many sites available to make your own. Please make sure you download your photos in high resolution to maintain their quality as this will give you the best result!
Do you do family sessions?
Yes! I have done several full family sessions as well as newborn and maternity shoots.
